Comenius individual

As part of the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme, the Comenius actions aim to help young people and educational staff better understand the range of European cultures, languages and values. Through this project our teachers are learning about many useful topics that help them in their everyday life and in the classroom.

The usual project path is that the teacher travels to the country which hosts the project and there they stay either at a hotel or with locals. Many workshops are held in which the participants learn about a certain topic, parhaps in ways in which they yet haven't.

One of our teachers that took part in comenius individual is prof. Tatjana Plantak.

"The project itself was very interesting. We learned about teaching our subjects in english. I got to meet many colleagues from different countries, different working technuqies. I was in England, Porthsmouth, and I was pleasantly surprised by how they are organised and function. The experiance is really amazing. I traveld to a new country and experianced a different culture. I stayed with a family there. I really got to see their way of life. I learned new and different ways of teaching my subject that I can pass on to other colleagues. Since the project I throw in a phrase or two in english during my class. All in all, a great project that I would absolutely recommend and that I feel helped me grow."
