Bronze medal won

At the 10th International Exhibition of Inventions, ARCA 2012 that was held in the lobby of the National and University Library in Zagreb, Katarina Horvat, a student from our school participated with her work.

Under the guidance of her mentor, Miljenko Tomašek, Katarina made a paper on the topic of „ Energy saving traffic lights“. Not only did she made a theoretical calculation of what would happen if we replace the existing lighting with LED lighting, she also made a model of the traffic lights and made the measurement of energy consumption and the actual energy savings. The work of our student, Katarina Horvat „Energy saving traffic lights“ was rewarded with a bronze medal for her innovativeness.
