Electromechanical School hosted students and teachers from five European countries

As part of the Erasmus + The European Job Market of Youth that was held at Electromechanical School Varaždin in the period from May 23. to 27., in total 28 host students and teachers from Poland, Finland, Turkey, Hungary and Germany participated. In addition to participants of the project 30 students and 9 teachers from Electromechanical School took part as well.

After the welcoming speech of the Director and integration games, participants had the opportunity to take a tour around the School, and then the city of Varaždin.

The working part of the meeting began on Tuesday. After a presentation on "How to get a job?" And "The problems that we encounter abroad," students and teachers took part in two workshops that were intended to teach how to get to the perfect multimedia presentations and how to perform in the presentation in a few steps.

On Wednesday the exercises in which students in groups apply their newly acquired knowledge in connection with multimedia presentations followed. The students were preparing their own presentations on various topics. After hard work, girls and boys admeasured their power in sports games with lots of fun and laughter.

Thursday was reserved for a visit to the island and the town of Krk. On this trip our guests could hear a lot of information and stories related to our country, and after the cultural part the group went swimming in the sea in Baška.

On the last day, Friday, the participants visited the company Solvis, a company that makes solar panels .It is a successful company and they explained the way they select candidates for employment. After the visit, the students presented their papers in the plenum, and then evaluated the work and other aspects during mobility.
