The third transnational meeting – France, 27 – 29th January, 2016

The teachers from all four partner school met once again at a transnational meeting, this time in France. The meeting was held at the French partner school, which is located in L'Arbresle, near Lyon.

The two teachers who represented the Croatian team at the meeting were Miroslav Smuđ and Valentina Bračko. They arrived to L'Arbresle on the 27th of January and were warmly greeted by the French hosts. The Swedish and Cypriot team joined them at the welcoming dinner, where all the teachers had a chance to get to know each other better and compare teaching experiences in different countries.

On the next day, the 28th of January, the teams met at the French school in the morning and were given a tour of the school. L'Arbresle Collège les quatre vents is a primary school with about 700 students and 50 teachers. After the tour, the teachers discussed the finished project activities – food comparison, math problems, architecture and local environment investigation. One of the topics was also the official website and the ways it can be improved.

After the first part of the meeting, the teachers attended the unveiling ceremony of the Erasmus+ plaque in front of the school, led by the principal of the French school. When the ceremony finished, the teachers returned to the second part of the meeting where they planned future activities – recycling, the final film and the final meeting in Sweden.

When the meeting was finalized, the teachers had lunch made by the French students. Then it was time to get to know L'Arbresle with the help of the local tour guide. And finally, all the participants met at the final dinner where they enjoyed delicious French food, but also exchanged experiences, ideas and thoughts on education in various European countries.

On the last day, the 29th of January, it was time to say goodbye, but just until the next (and final) meeting in Sweden.
